Meet Jemma, a dynamic performer with a compelling journey through the Performing arts.

Inspired at a young age by the enticing world of musicals like Cabaret, Rocky Horror and Chicago, Jemma's journey took root in the captivating tapestry of the performing arts. Their story began with the structured elegance of classical and contemporary dance.

Their quest for artistic expression led them through the hallowed halls of Newtown High School of the Performing Arts and Brent Street in Sydney, followed by an immersive study of acting at the prestigious Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne. Completing a Diploma of Dance at the Ministry of Dance added yet another layer to their expertise.

Navigating the industry with a diverse array of skills and a penchant for individuality posed its challenges, yet Jemma's unique flair caught the discerning eye of the cabaret scene. Melbourne's Miss Friby and the House of Burlesque welcomed them into their productions. The renowned Masters of Choreography also tapped into Jemma's distinct talents, commissioning them to choreograph for multiple shows.

Their performance experience spans the spectrum, from the glittering stages of musical theatre to the adrenaline-pumping world of cheerleading. However, Jemma discovered their true home on the fringes, with festivals becoming their playground for creativity. It was during this time, at a Circus training facility in Byron Bay, that their journey into aerials took flight.

For the past four years, Jemma has soared as a pole dancer, now imparting their wisdom as a teacher. The discovery of this apparatus felt like a harmonious convergence of their balletic lines, circus-inspired strength, and the innate sensuality they exude.

As a solo artist, Jemma has graced events and spot-shows, leaving an indelible mark with performances at SMUT, Show Us Ya Tips, Hey Hunny, Love, War & Theatre and Girl Thing. Emotion is their muse, and they craft from the heart, drawing inspiration from the depths of their experiences as a queer, gender-fluid, adult entertainer and artist.

Beyond the spotlight, Jemma is a paradox – an introvert with a magnetic connection. A dark, dry sense of humour coexists with a love for pastels, velvet, and anything soft and fluffy. They embody both romance and savagery, inviting you into their captivating world where authenticity and artistry intertwine.
